In Cleveland for the career exhibit on the Rolling Stones. Sixth floor of the Rock Hall Exhibit is an item "It's Only Rock 'n Roll, 1974" A collage by Gary Peelaert from the collection of Jean Bernard-Hebey.
It is a black and white collage of the Stones walking down a flight of stairs with scores of images of women from earlier eras surrounding them. Immediately behind the Stones is a 1920s era photo of Lillian Gish holding a bouquet of longstem roses. She is recognizable from the image below, but with enlargement it's clearer. More proof, Lillian Gish is everywhere. Another moment with Miss Gish. She once told me she'd been in the public domain since 1912.
